Privacy Policy
Effective August 6, 2026
This policy covers Channel Analytics, a private read-only tool Steady Matter uses to review performance for social accounts it owns or manages. The tool is not offered to public users.
Data the tool accesses
After the account holder authorizes access, Channel Analytics may retrieve basic profile information, account totals, public video details, and engagement counts such as views, likes, comments, and shares. For YouTube, it may also retrieve channel analytics such as watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, impressions, and subscriber changes.
How the data is used
The data is used only to measure content performance, compare posts, and prepare internal reports. Steady Matter does not sell the data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties.
Storage and security
Analytics snapshots stay on a Steady Matter-controlled computer. Access and refresh tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain rather than in the project files. Platform credentials are sent only to the platform that issued them when the tool requests or refreshes authorized access.
Retention and deletion
Analytics records are kept while they are useful for performance comparisons. The account holder may revoke platform access at any time through the relevant TikTok or Google account settings. A request to delete locally stored analytics or disconnect an account can be sent to hello@steadymatter.com.
Website data
This policy page does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or submission forms.
Changes
If the tool's data access or use changes, this page will be updated before the new use begins.
